abstract = {The basic assumption of the present paper is centred on the idea of the substantial difference between two epistemic-doctrinal schools, that is, Islam and Liberalism. Islam is a revelatory school and liberalism is a humanistic one. A comparative study of justice is made to underline the essential difference between these two schools. The study shows that individual freedom constitutes a basic and real concept in liberalism. The more liberalism insists on the individual types of freedom, the more justice is marginalized. In Islam, however, justice which comes after Divine Unity is a central principle in Islamic thought. Believers are urged to observe justice. The Islamic government is founded on justice, so that Imam Ali, the Commander of the Faithful, did not accept Madinans' allegiance without insisting on administering justice},

abstract_fa ={مفروض بنیادین در این گفتار مبتنی بر تمایز جوهری میان دو مکتب معرفتی ـ عقیدتی اسلام و لیبرالیسم است. اسلام مکتب وحیانی و لیبرالیسم ایدئولوژی انسانی است. در بیان تمایز ذاتی میان این دو مکتب، مطالعه ای تطبیقی در موضوع عدالت انجام شده است. در این مطالعه، معلوم گردید که مفهوم بنیادین و اصیل در لیبرالیسم، آزادی فردی است. به هر میزان که لیبرالیسم بر آزادی های فردی پافشاری کرده، عدالت بیشتر به حاشیه رفته است. اما در اسلام، پس از اصل توحید، عدالت در کانون تفکر اسلامی جای دارد. مؤمنان به عدالت ورزی فرا خوانده شده اند. بنیاد حکومت اسلامی بر عدالت است. چنان که امیر مؤمنان علی(ع) بیعت با مردم مدینه را تنها به شرط اقامه قسط و عدل پذیرفتند.},
