Generally, political thinkers base their ideas about the legitimacy of their theories about policy and government on their own explanation and understanding of human nature. The main idea of this research is that human nature cannot and should not be considered as an important issue merely in politics and political theory as in the case of justice, equality and or freedom; rather, it is, in fact, a framework, in which political theory and perception of politics takes form. If special attention is given to the issue of human nature, then many details about political theory will be concealed, because some inconsistencies and ambiguities in political theories can be ascribed to the ambiguity about and incoherence in the conception of the political theoreticians of human nature. In political ideas and political theories, in particular, fundamentality of human nature means that human nature, in fact, forms the framework, in which political theory is formed. Our conception of human nature clarifies the kind of content which the aim of political theory should have ارتباط ماهیت بشر و نظریه‌ی سیاسی، یکی از مهم ترین مباحث در مطالعه‌ی تحلیلی هر نظریه‌ی سیاسی است. اندیشمندان سیاسی معمولاً مشروعیت دیدگاه خویش درباره‌ی سیاست و حکومت را بر تبیین و برداشت خاصی از ماهیت انسان ها بنا می نهند. ایده‌ی اصلی پژوهش حاضر آن است که ماهیت بشر را صرفاً نمی توان و نباید یک موضوع با اهمیت در سیاست و نظریه‌ی سیاسی دانست؛ آن گونه که عدالت، برابری یا آزادی این گونه هستند؛ بلکه ماهیت بشر در واقع، فضایی است که در درون آن فضا، نظریه‌ی سیاسی و تلقّی و برداشت از سیاست، شکل می گیرد. اگر به موضوع ماهیت بشر توجه اساسی صورت گیرد آنگاه تکلیف بسیاری از امور در نظریه‌ی سیاسی معلوم خواهد شد؛ چنان که برخی ناهماهنگی ها و ابهامات در نظریات سیاسی را می توان نتیجه‌ی ابهام و عدم انسجام در برداشت نظریه پرداز سیاسی از ماهیت بشر دانست. بنیادین بودن ماهیت بشر برای عقاید سیاسی و به ویژه نظریه‌ی سیاسی عبارت است از اینکه ماهیت بشر در واقع، چارچوبی را شکل می دهد که نظریه‌ی سیاسی در درون آن صورت بندی می شود. برداشت ما از ماهیت بشر مشخص می کند که غایت و هدف نظریه‌ی سیاسی واجد چه نوع محتوا و مضمونی باید باشد. https://siyasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/siyasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2_9.pdf
