Having a theoretical approach and aiming to explain the meaning and place of state in the Holy Quran, the present article begins its task with exploring the requirements of a religious state in the Holy Quran. In other words, what are the semantic and pragmatic implications of the ‘Islamization’ of a state? To answer this question, the author examines different theories of state, chooses the theory of constitutional state as a fundamental theory on the basis of Islamic worldview, reviews the applications of an Islamic state on the basis of an Islamic political discourse and introduces a new model of ‘Islamic state’. دولت از مبانی تدبیر سیاسی در جوامع انسانی است که علاوه بر ساختار ویژه اش، به اشکال گوناگون در جماعت های انسانی از قبیل، امپراتوری، کشور، ملت ـ دولت و... حضور داشته است. از این رو، ادیان از آن جهت که به مقوله‌ی مهم تدبیر سیاسی می پردازند، به موضوع «دولت» نیز توجه داشته اند. این مقاله با روش تحلیل نظری و اسنادی و با هدف بیان معنا و منزلت دولت در قرآن کریم با این پرسش آغاز می شود که مقتضای دینی بودن دولت در گفتمان اسلامی چیست؟ به عبارت دیگر، «اسلامی شدن» دولت در یک جامعه، چه تحول معناشناختی و کارکردی برای دولت در پی خواهد داشت؟ در پاسخ به این پرسش، طرح و نقد نظریه های دولت، انتخاب «نظریه‌ی دولت مشروطه» به عنوان نظریه‌ی مبنا، بر اساس جهان بینی اسلامی و بازخوانی کارویژه های دولت اسلامی مستند به گفتمان سیاسی اسلامی و معرفی الگوی «دولت اسلامی» حاصل مقاله‌ی پیش روی شماست. https://siyasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/siyasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/1137.pdf
