abstract = {The relationship between ethics and politics has always been interesting for scientists, politicians, philosophers, and community leaders. Some see ethics as a function of politics , some consider politics to be based on moral standards, and some others believe in their independence from each other. Using descriptive-analytical method and library sources, this research has studied and analyzed this issue from the perspective of Imam Khomeini ,a role model of politics and ethics. According to research findings, Imam considers politics as a function of ethics and holds that both politics and ethics are branches of practical wisdom and seek to ensure human well-being. Therefore, Imam argues that the provision of happiness depends on the creation of moral politics. In Imam's view, ethically-based politics has components that, if observed, will lead to the development of societies. Components such as observing justice and fairness among people, avoiding secularity and worldliness, observing kindness and tolerance in dealing with people, observing the correspondence between  officials and their moral virtues; establishing ethics in politics, adhering to governmental covenants and slogans, treating people honestly, and avoiding deceit.},

abstract_fa ={ارتباط اخلاق و سیاست همواره مورد توجه دانشمندان، سیاستمداران، فیلسوفان و مدیران جوامع بوده است. برخی اخلاق را تابع سیاست می دانند و برخی سیاست را مبتنی بر موازین اخلاقی؛ و دسته ای نیز به جدایی بین آنها باورمندند. این پژوهش با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی و با استفاده از منابع کتابخانه ای به بررسی و تحلیل این مسئله از نگاه امام خمینی ره به عنوان الگوی سیاست و اخلاق پرداخته است. طبق یافته های پژوهش امام ره سیاست را تابع اخلاق و هر دو را از شاخه هاى حکمت عملى می داند که در پى تأمین سعادت انسان اند. براین اساس، امام ره تأمین سعادت را منوط به ایجاد سیاست اخلاقی می داند. در دیدگاه امام ره سیاستِ مبتنی بر اخلاق، مؤلفه هایی دارد که رعایت آنها موجب پیشرفت جوامع می شود. مؤلفه هایی همچون: رعایت عدالت و انصاف بین مردم؛ پرهیز از دنیادوستی و دنیاپرستی؛ رعایت رفق و مدارا در رفتار با مردم، تناسب مقام ها با توجه به میزان برخورداری از فضایل اخلاقی؛ حاکم نمودن اخلاق بر سیاست؛ وفاداری به پیمان و شعارهای حکومتی؛ برخورد صادقانه با مردم؛ و پرهیز از فریبکاری.},
