Using content analysis, this article investigates the validity of this claim with regard to one of the thinkers of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatullah Muhammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi. According to the authoritarian reading, the political thought of Ayatullah Misbah Yazdi is in the category of authoritarian ideas due to its "superiority" foundation as well as the components of "abolition of allegiance", "needlessness of consultation" and "extensive powers of government". The research results show that the principles and components of authoritarianism are incompatible of with the political thought of Ayatullah Misbah Yazdi سنجش واکنش اندیشمندان در دو دوره‌ی مشروطه و انقلاب اسلامی در قبال امر سیاسی، برخی نویسندگان را به این نتیجه رسانده است که در دوره‌ی انقلاب اسلامی، نظریه پردازی های سیاسی عمدتاً از ایستاری اقتداگرایانه برخوردارند. در این مقاله، صحت این مدعا درباره‌ی یکی از اندیشمندان دوره‌ی انقلاب اسلامی، آیت الله محمدتقی مصباح یزدی، با استفاده از روش تحلیل و تفسیر بررسی می شود. بر اساس خوانش اقتدارگرایی، اندیشه‌ی سیاسی آیت الله مصباح یزدی به دلیل برخورداری از بنیاد «فرادستی» و همچنین مؤلفه های «لغویت بیعت»، «بی نیازی از مشاورت» و «اختیارات گسترده‌ی حکومت» در زمره‌ی اندیشه های اقتدارگرایی قرار دارد. عدم انطباق مبانی و مؤلفه های اقتدارگرایی بر اندیشه‌ی سیاسی آیت الله مصباح یزدی، دستاورد این پژوهش است. https://siyasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/siyasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/3_19.pdf
