The decline of America's power is the result of many factors, but in Imam Khamenei's defense thoughts, the Islamic Revolution has played a very important and fundamental role in the decline of America's power. Using the descriptive-analytical method, the present research aims to explain the role of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in the decline of America’s power based on the defense thoughts of Imam Khamenei. The results show that Iran's Islamic revolution has been able to cause serious challenges to the power and imperialism of America in the region and the world, not only in the vital ideological field, but also in multifaceted political and military areas براساس نظریه کارشناسان و نظریه پردازان سیاسی، نظام سیاسی امریکا در عرصه های گوناگون فکری و عملی، رو به افول است و جهان در آستانه شکل گیری نظمی نوین قرار گرفته است. افول قدرت امریکا هرچند معلول عوامل متعددی  است، اما در اندیشه و مکتب دفاعی امام خامنه ای نقش انقلاب اسلامی در افول قدرت امریکا بسیار مهم و اساسی است. پژوهش حاضر با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی و با هدف تبیین نقش انقلاب اسلامی ایران در افول قدرت امریکا در اندیشه و مکتب دفاعی امام خامنه ای سامان یافته است. براساس نتایج به دست آمده، انقلاب اسلامی ایران نه تنها در عرصه حیاتی ایدئولوژیک، بلکه در عرصه های چندوجهی سیاسی و نظامی هم توانسته است قدرت و امپریالیزم امریکا را در منطقه و جهان با چالش هایی جدی روبه رو کند. https://siyasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/siyasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/3_20.pdf
