This is because an Islamic political system must lead a society towards ideal goals. The main question followed by this article is to find out what the aims and duties of an Islamic state are. Having a descriptive method and aiming to explain the aims and duties of an Islamic state, the present article tries to expound the aims and duties of a state towards its subjects from an Islamic perspective. The outcome of this article is that since Islam wants man to attain a perfect evolution in all spheres of life – individual, social, material and spiritual and since this evolution cannot come into being without the existence of just and legitimate state, [therefore the existence of a just and legitimate state is necessary from the viewpoint of Islam]. مکتب حیات بخش اسلام، بر اساس جهان بینی و نگاهی که به انسان و جهان دارد، برای نظام سیاسی و حاکمان جامعه، اهداف و وظایفی در نظر گرفته است، تا بدین سان، نظام سیاسی مورد نظر اسلام، جامعه را به سمت آرمان های مطلوب هدایت کند. پرسش اصلی این مقاله این است که «اهداف و وظایف دولت اسلامی کدام اند؟» این مقاله با روشی توصیفی و با هدف تبیین اهداف و وظایف دولت اسلامی، درصدد است تا زاویه نگاه اسلام اصیل در زمینه اهداف و وظایف یک دولت را در قبال جامعه روشن کند. حاصل این مقاله اینکه، هدف اساسی اسلام تکامل همه جانبه انسان در ابعاد فردی، اجتماعی، مادی و معنوی است و این کمال بدون تحقق عدالت و رهبری صالح در جامعه امکان پذیر نیست. https://siyasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/siyasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/1163.pdf
