After examining four different definitions, he considers political philosophy as a science that explains the foundational principles of the problems of political science. In comparison, Islamic philosophers such as Fārābī regarded political philosophy as a branch of civil science (al-‘ilm al-madanī) and a means for realizing a virtue-centered society. Among contemporary Western philosophers, two main approaches exist: some view it as a branch of theoretical philosophy, while others consider it a sub-discipline of moral philosophy. The article shows that Ayatollah Misbah Yazdi adopts a practical and operational approach to political philosophy aimed at solving problems related to political knowledge, offering an efficient model for the production of Islamic political knowledge. This perspective seeks to strengthen the discourse of Islamic humanities and has considerable potential for resolving both theoretical and practical problems of the Islamic political system. این مقاله به بررسی دیدگاه آیت‌الله مصباح یزدی دربارة فلسفة سیاسی و مقایسة آن با دیدگاه‌های فلاسفة اسلامی و غربی می‌پردازد. ایشان با بررسی چهار تعریف مختلف، فلسفة سیاسی را علمی می‌داند که به تبیین مبادی مسائل علم سیاست می‌پردازد. در مقایسه با این دیدگاه، فلاسفة اسلامی، مانند فارابی، فلسفة سیاسی را بخشی از علم مدنی و وسیله‌ای برای تحقق جامعه‌ای فضیلت‌محور می‌دانستند. در میان فیلسوفان معاصر غرب نیز دو رویکرد اصلی وجود دارد: برخی آن را شاخه‌ای از فلسفة نظری می‌دانند و برخی دیگر زیرمجموعه‌ای از فلسفة اخلاق. مقاله نشان می‌دهد که آیت‌الله مصباح یزدی به فلسفة سیاسی رویکردی کاربردی و عملیاتی برای حل مسائل مرتبط با دانش سیاسی دارد و الگویی کارآمد برای تولید دانش سیاست اسلامی ارائه می‌دهد. این دیدگاه در راستای تقویت گفتمان علوم انسانی اسلامی است و توانایی قابل توجهی در حل مسائل نظری و میدانی نظام سیاسی اسلامی دارد. https://siyasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/siyasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5002460-1782886918.pdf
