The existence of theoretical arguments that attempt to justify this phenomenon morally or politically makes a deeper examination of its foundations all the more necessary. This study addresses the fundamental question: What are the main philosophical arguments used to justify terrorism, and what critiques have been offered against them from Western and Islamic perspectives? Using an analytical-critical method and library sources, the article first explains the key justificatory arguments for terrorism and then critiques them from both Western philosophy and Islamic thought. The findings indicate that such arguments face fundamental challenges. Finally, a philosophical and legal analysis of verse 32 of Surah al-Māʾidah demonstrates that the Qur’an, by explicitly prohibiting the killing of an innocent human being, considers any terrorist act absolutely and unconditionally unjustifiable. پدیدة تروریسم به‌عنوان یکی از تهدیدات جدی جهان معاصر، نه‌تنها یک بحران امنیتی، بلکه یک معضل پیچیدة فلسفی ـ اخلاقی است. وجود استدلال‌های نظری که سعی در توجیه اخلاقی یا سیاسی این پدیده دارند، ضرورت واکاوی عمیق‌تر این مبانی را دوچندان می‌کند. این پژوهش به این پرسش اساسی می‌پردازد که مهم‌ترین استدلال‌های فلسفی توجیه‌گر تروریسم کدام‌اند و نقدهای وارد بر آنها از منظر اندیشمندان غربی و اسلامی چیست؟ این مقاله با روش تحلیلی ـ انتقادی و با بهره‌گیری از منابع کتابخانه‌ای، ابتدا به تبیین استدلال‌های کلیدی توجیه‌گر تروریسم می‌پردازد؛ سپس استدلال‌های مطرح‌شده از دو دیدگاه فلسفة غرب و اسلام نقد می‌شوند. یافته‌های تحقیق حاکی از آن است که استدلال‌های توجیه‌گر تروریسم با چالش‌های بنیادین روبه‌رویند. در خاتمه، تحلیل فلسفی و حقوقی آیة 32 سورة مائده نشان می‌دهد که قرآن کریم با تصریح به حرمت قتل یک انسان بی‌گناه، هرگونه اقدام تروریستی را به‌شکلی مطلق و بدون قید و شرط، غیرقابل توجیه می‌داند. https://siyasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/siyasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5003112-1777959037.pdf
