Previous studies have largely focused on the political-juridical analysis of the clergy or on rhetorical representations of ethics; consequently, the institutional and functional mechanisms of morality in Shahid Beheshti's intellectual framework-especially their relation to the engineering of society remain insufficiently clarified. This study aims to reconstruct these mechanisms through a qualitative-interpretive approach and directed thematic analysis. The theoretical framework is structured across three levels-philosophical-ontological, sociological, and functional-systemic-and employs Osgood's Semantic Differential model to assess the functional differentiation of ethical components within Beheshti's logic of guidance. The findings indicate that, in Beheshti's view, the clergy functions as a "living mechanism of moral production" that, through practical exemplification, normative regulation, and the reproduction of symbolic capital, provides the grounds for monotheistic social engineering and the endurance of the Islamic exemplary society. در اندیشه اجتماعی اسلام پرسشی محوری قرار دارد: نظم اخلاقی چگونه شکل میگیرد و کدام نهاد توان سامان دهی و مراقبت از آن را در سطح جمعی دارد. پژوهشهای پیشین بیشتر به تحلیل سیاسی فقهی روحانیت با بازنمایی خطابی اخلاق پرداخته اند؛ از این رو سازوکارهای نهادی و کارکردی اخلاق در منظومه فکری شهید بهشتی به ویژه نسبت آن با مهندسی اجتماع، همچنان میهم است. این پژوهش با هدف بازسازی این سازوکارها از رویکرد کیفی تفسیری و تحلیل مضمون هدایت شده بهره می گیرد. چارچوب نظری بر سه سطح فلسفی هستی شناختی جامعه شناختی و کارکردی سیستمی استوار است و برای سنجش تمایز کارکردی مؤلفه های اخلاقی در منطق هدایت بهشتی از مدل افتراق معنایی Osgood استفاده میشود. یافته ها نشان می دهد روحانیت در نگاه بهشتی مکانیسم زنده اخلاق سازی است که از طریق الگوپردازی عملی تنظیم هنجاری و بازتولید سرمایه نمادین زمینه مهندسی اجتماعی توحیدی و پایداری جامعه نمونه اسلامی را فراهم می کند
