abstract = {The confrontation of modern West with the Muslim world in modern time made religious scholars think of giving appropriate response to different events resulting from this confrontation in the different sociopolitical dimensions of Dar al-Islam, including scientific- cultural hegemony and military attacks, in order to protect the Islamic territory against the serious damages caused by the way of the attacks of infidels and enemy aliens. The late Seyyed Mohammad Kazim Tabatabaii Yazdi was among the religious scholars who made full-scale efforts to protect Islamic territory at his time. The present paper elaborates on Shiite jurists' fiqhi (legal) views, especially that of the author of 'Urvah, about the necessity to protect Dar al-Islam and makes reference to his most important political conduct which was mostly influenced by this fiqhi view.},

abstract_fa ={: رویارویی غرب جدید با جهان اسلام در دوره معاصر، عالمان دینی را بر آن داشت تا در برابر حوادث و رخدادهای متفاوت ناشی از آن در ساحت های گوناگون سیاسی، اجتماعی دارالاسلام، اعم از تهاجم فرهنگی، علمی، نظامی و... واکنش  مناسب نشان دهند تا مانع آسیب های جدی به کیان نظام اسلامی در برابر موج حملات کفار و بیگانگان شوند. مرحوم سیدمحمدکاظم طباطبایی یزدی، یکی از عالمان دینی بود که در زمان خویش در این راستا تلاش های همه جانبه ای، به منظور حفظ سرزمین اسلامی از خود نشان داد. این نوشتار، با رویکرد تحلیلی و مطالعه اسنادی، ضمن تبیین آراء فقهی فقهای شیعه، به ویژه صاحب عروه درباره وجوب حفظ دارالاسلام، به مهم ترین رفتارهای سیاسی ایشان، که عمدتاً تحت تأثیر این دیدگاه فقهی است، اشاره می کند.},
